The City of Alameda's Fire Chief Edmond Rodriguez has been on medical leave (non-COVID-19 related) since the week of March 23rd and is out for an undetermined period of time. Deputy Fire Chief Rick Zombeck is serving as Acting Fire Chief and Division Chief Jeff Delbono is serving as Acting Deputy Chief during this time. All fire stations and the Emergency Operations Center are fully staffed and ready to serve.
