The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) completed a noise survey involving 20 airports and is now seeking public opinion.
There are three ways to share your feedback:
The FAA is interested in hearing comments about the noise impact on health, sleep, the economy, children’s learning, and interference with speech communication.
Many thanks to CLASS, the Citizens League for Airport Safety and Serenity, for their advocacy on this issue. CLASS is a nonprofit organization made up of individuals and homeowner association members formed to protect the safety, health and welfare of the people living in Alameda and communities near the Oakland Airport. Comments must identify the docket number (FAA–2021–0037) and be received on or before March 15, 2021.
