Overnight Closure of Posey Tube (State Route 61) for Graffiti Removal Starting at 10:00 PM on Friday, June 13, 2025

ALAMEDA COUNTY —

Caltrans will temporarily close the Posey Tube (State Route 61) connecting Alameda and Oakland on the nights of Friday, June 13, 2025, and Saturday, June 14, 2025, to perform graffiti removal.

Closure Details Date:  Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14, 2025
Time: 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM each night
Location: Posey Tube (Alameda to Oakland)
The Posey Tube will be closed overnight only and reopen by early morning. The tunnel will remain open during daytime hours.
