ALAMEDA COUNTY — Caltrans has scheduled to close the Posey Tube (State Route 61) overnight Dec. 20, 21 and 22. The closures are overnight only. The purpose of the closures is to perform tunnel maintenance.
The tube will be open during the daytime. Each of the overnight closures will begin at 10 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. the next morning.
The Webster Tube will remain open.
Traffic Control Measures:
Changeable message and directional signs are in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be at the site during the closures.
