Homes will be awarded to eligible homebuyers through a lottery process (Opportunity Drawing).
Deadline to apply to be included in the Opportunity Drawing (lottery) is August 20, 2021. Down Payment Assistance
In response to the high cost of housing, Alameda County taxpayers voted to give buyers a boost! Eligible applicants may borrow up to $210,000 in the form of a shared appreciation down payment assistance loan to buy a home in Alameda County. This program is offered through Alameda County Housing & Community Development Department. Applications are due August 30, 2021.
