Seventh Annual Community Service Awards Recognize the Tremendous Contributions of Alameda Residents and Businesses
Mayor Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft and the City of Alameda Social Service Human Relations Board will honor the contributions of individuals, businesses, and nonprofits at the Seventh Annual Community Service Awards Ceremony. The virtual award ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 6:30 pm. The event is open to the public via zoom, but requires pre-registration here.
The awards this year honor exceptional Alamedans who have made tremendous contributions to our community. The recipients of the 2020 Community Service Awards are:
Rosemary Reilly — Jim Franz Lifetime Achievement Community Service Award
Karen Butter — Volunteer of the Year Community Service Award
Alisa Rasera-Holden — Individual Community Service Award
Immanuel Lutheran — Group Community Service Award
St. Vincent de Paul/St. Barnabas — Group Community Service Award
Madlen Saddik — Business Person Community Service Award
Superhero Dessert — Business Community Service Award
Ruth Abbe — Nonprofit Board Member Community Service Award
Alameda Education Foundation — Nonprofit Organization Community Service Award
Noa Joseph — Youth Community Service Award
Serena McIntosh — Youth Community Service Award
