The City of Alameda (City) administers various programs including the Below Market Rate (BMR) Housing Ownership Program, the Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Program and other programs related to the sale or lease up of Inclusionary Housing. The City of Alameda (City), California is seeking a consultant or a team of consultants (Consultant Team) to assist with program administration.
The Inclusionary Housing Ordinance is the mechanism for the development of affordable homeownership and rental housing in the City. When market-rate housing is proposed, the City requires the development of:
- Homes for sale to households who earn no more than 120% AMI
- Rental housing for households who earn no more than 120% AMI
- Workforce housing for households who earn between 120% and 180% AMI
