Lace up your walking shoes, gather your family, friends and neighbors and join us on an hour-long walk on designated Saturday mornings of each month, May through October! Rain or Shine!
Whether you are new to Alameda or lived here for decades, this is a great way to begin a Saturday morning exploring our neighborhoods and discovering new areas of Alameda.
Pre-registration is not necessary for Alameda Walks. All walks begin at 9:00 a.m. and last approximately one hour. Where walks are longer, it will be noted and new walks are indicated. Look for the red Alameda Walks hats! While we love furry pets, we prefer that they wait for you at home.

This walk will explore the earliest development after the Naval Base closure, the revitalization of the Linear Park water shed, and the final phase of development for Estuary Park. Come check out the jewel of the west end.
