Skate Park Renovation Timeline
Current status: 100% construction drawings have been received and are being reviewed by staff. The documents have been submitted to Planning and Building for permit. Construction is anticipated to begin Fall 2026.
Fall 2025: 60% construction drawings have been received and were reviewed by staff. The project team is preparing a final set of construction drawings.
Through March 9, 2025: Survey #2 gathered community input on the two preferred skate park renovation options. Option #2 was selected.
February 27, 2025: Based on feedback from the community input meeting and Survey #1, the project team developed two skate park renovation options.
Through November 3, 2024: Survey #1 collected ideas on desired amenities and features for the skate park redesign.
October 29, 2024: A community input meeting was held at City View Skate Park to gather public feedback.
