Skate Park Renovation Timeline
Current status: 60% construction drawings have been received and reviewed by staff. The project team is preparing a final set of construction drawings. Once complete, the documents will be submitted to Planning and Building for permit. Construction is anticipated to begin summer/fall 2026.
Through March 9, 2025: Survey #2 gathered community input on the two preferred skate park renovation options. Option #2 was selected.
February 27, 2025: Based on feedback from the community input meeting and Survey #1, the project team developed two skate park renovation options.
Through November 3, 2024: Survey #1 collected ideas on desired amenities and features for the skate park redesign.
October 29, 2024: A community input meeting was held at City View Skate Park to gather public feedback.
