Longfellow Park Improved ADA Access

This project is part of the City's ongoing commitment to improve access to neighborhood parks, enhancing safety, and creating welcoming recreational spaces for the community.
  • Start Date:  Summer 2026
  • Estimated Duration:  4-6 Weeks
  • Work Hours:  Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Work To Be Completed:

This first phase include a new ADA-accessible pathway entrance to the park along Haight Avenue, improving connectivity throughout.
What Residents Should Expect:

During construction:
  • Temporary Park area closures
  • Construction equipment,  noise, and dust during work hours
  • Temporary fencing, signage, and adjusted pedestrian access routes
