Mastick Senior Center is a collaboration between the City of Alameda Recreation and Parks Department, Mastick Senior Center Advisory Board (MSCAB), and volunteers. We work to offer a broad range of recreational activities, engaging intellectual pursuits, and resources to assist with the challenges of everyday living. Your contribution helps sustain the valuable programs and services we provide for the senior community.

2% Utility User's Tax Exemption

Alameda residents 65 years of age, or low income, are eligible for a 2% exemption on the Utility User's Tax (UUT) on the following services: electrical, gas, and cable. Residents have the option of directly benefiting from the 2% reduction, or designating the cost savings as a restricted gift to be used only for funding Mastick Senior Center programs.
