Memorial Amenity Request
Memorial Benches and Picnic Tables are a beautiful way to acknowledge and celebrate the legacy of loved ones. The Alameda Recreation and Parks Department is happy to be able to assist you with your request. Please complete the Memorial Amenity Request Form(PDF, 444KB). Email your completed form or return it to the office. Please contact us with any questions.
Location Requests
We will make every effort to accommodate location requests. Park Division Staff will meet with you to determine exact location prior to installation. Bench locations at Franklin and McKinley Parks are currently full. Memorial Picnic Table requests are still available at McKinley Park.
Timeline
Typical timeline for this process is 8 - 16 weeks from payment to installation.
Natural Materials
Memorial amenities are made of natural materials and may feature unique characteristics and variations.
Plaque
The cost of the bench/picnic table does not include a plaque. It is your responsibility to supply the plaque. Required dimensions: 9 7/8" x 1 7/8" and 1/4" thick. Please bring your plaque to the ARPD office.
