The City of Alameda lacks sufficient housing space for our unhoused residents. To address this need, the City Council approved using existing real estate assets located in Alameda Point in order to convert vacant homes into Emergency Supportive Homeless Housing. Please join City staff for a community listening session that will provide more information about this program and its proposed changes and hear comments and concerns from residents.
