Update Overnight Closures Scheduled for Webster Tube (State Route 260) for Maintenance work

Alameda County – Due to maintenance work and to ensure the safety of crews and the public, Caltrans will implement the following closures in the Webster Tunnel (OaklandAlameda) starting tonight. This closure is needed to complete remaining work within the available construction window.

Nighttime Webster Tube Closures Friday, February 6th, 2026-CANCELED

Scheduled: Monday, February 9th and Tuesday, February 10th
• Single Lane Closure 7PM to 11PM
• Full Webster tunnel closure from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Single Lane closure from 5AM to 12PM ( Next Day)

During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Crews will be performing roadway joint work to maintain the tunnel infrastructure and ensure safe operations. Posey Tube will remain open.
