COVID-19 Economic Recovery Task Force

Under the direction of the City of Alameda’s Economic Development Advisory Panel, the City created a COVID-19 Economic Recovery Task Force to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and to start planning for longer-term resiliency and recovery. 

The Goal.  The goal of the Task Force is to create a short- to mid-term plan to bolster economic recovery in Alameda as public health requirements shift and businesses re-open to the community under a “new normal.”  The focus will be on the most vulnerable business sectors and populations impacted by the public health and economic crises.

The Task Force’s zoom meetings were held approximately every two weeks from July until December 2020. These meetings were open to the public and noticed on the City’s website at:  https://alameda.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx (under Mayor's Economic Development Advisory Panel/Economic Recovery Task Force).
