CANCELLATION - WITHDRAWAL - TRANSFER POLICY

You must cancel or withdraw at least one week before the program starts to receive a credit on your ARPD account for future use.  A $20 service fee will be charged for each class, camp or program you cancel or withdraw from.

Some specialty camps or programs may have different policies and service fees.  Please refer to the description or details for any specific program prior to registration.

A $20 service fee applies to any changes or transfers made after your original registration.

2025 Youth Sports

SPORTY TOTS (Ages 3 to 5 Years)
Sporty Tots Camp introduces Pre-K aged kids to recreational activities where they can improve their socialization and coordination while surrounded by our positive and encouraging staff.  They will experience different activities such as obstacle courses, tag games and an introduction to sports such as soccer and basketball.
HOME SCHOOL P.E (Ages 5 to 13 Years)
ARPD is offering this weekday supervised morning sports program for elementary and middle school aged children (Grades K to 8th).  This program is perfect for home schooled children looking to be active and have fun.
ALL SPORTS CAMP (Spring Break/Summer) (Ages 5 to 13 Years)
Our All-Sports Camp has quickly become one of our most popular specialty camps.  This camp is perfect for the athlete who enjoys a variety of sports and recreational games.  Campers are taught skills and given the opportunity to compete in a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, flag football, and more, while also enjoying some favorite recreational games like dodgeball, capture the flag, and kickball and the like.

INTRO TO BASKETBALL (Spring Break/Summer) (Ages 5 to 13 Years)
The Intro to Basketball Camp is designed for our younger campers that are new to the sport.  Campers receive an introduction to basketball and will learn basic concepts, terminology and ball handling movements from our encouraging and highly-skilled staff.

GROUP YOUTH TENNIS LESSONS (Ages 6 to 14 Years)
Students are introduced to the fundamentals of the game, covering ground-stroke, volley and serve techniques, alongside basic movement and court positioning.

ALAMEDA JUNIOR GOLF CLUB (Ages 7 to 18 Years)
Alameda Junior Golf Association (AJGA) provides organized recreational golf basics and playing opportunities for junior golfers during the nine June to August Wednesday tournaments.  Juniors play within their own age and gender groupings.

PICKLEBALL - AFTER SCHOOL (Grades 3 to 8)
The Afterschool Pickleball Program is a new program being introduced by ARPD!  The goal of this program is to give children in Alameda easy access to learn and enjoy this amazing game from our positive staff.
2025 ELKS NATIONAL HOOP SHOOT CONTEST WINNERS (Ages 8 to 13 Years)
This free throw contest, held in the Fall, is open to boys and girls who attend a school or reside in the city of Alameda.
