Thursday, June 18: "Let's Get Moving! Getting Round Under Your Own Power." Learn essential safety tips for walking and traveling in different neighborhoods. Learn how to navigate traffic safely and stay aware when using headphones or mobile devices

Tuesday, June 30: "Electric Rides 101: E-Bike & E-Scooter Safety for Older Teens."  Learn how fast e-bikes and e-scooters can travel, why speed limits matter and how to choose and wear the right safety gear, including helmets. The session will also cover key laws that determine where and how these vehicles can be ridden.

Looking for a chill spot to hang out after school?  The Underground Teen Center (UTC) is your go-to destination - a safe, supervised space where tweens and teens can kick back, connect with friends and dive into fun, hands-on activities.

From video games and a giant screen TV to ping pong, shuffleboard, pool, and classic board games - there's always something going on.

There's no charge to visit The UTC, however some activities may require a small materials fee.

Participants must register prior to attending program and are required to sign-in and sign-out on a daily basis.  There are no programs on holidays and other AUSD non-school days.

• ARPD Vans depart 10 minutes after the school bell
• Fees:  $2.00 per one-way trip (payable at time of pick-up)
• You can also purchase a $20 Ride Pass (non-refundable; good for 10 rides) at the ARPD Main Office, 2226 Santa Clara Ave, Alameda during regular business hours
