The City of Alameda is designing crossing improvements to enhance safety for all modes of travel and connectivity for walking and biking at the intersection of Pacific Avenue, a planned Neighborhood Greenway, and Wilma Chan Way. We need to hear from you!

In late May, the City will share design alternatives for the intersection and seek community input on them via a workshop and online survey. The City will also share and request input on concept plans for the nearby blocks of the Pacific Avenue and 8th Street Neighborhood Greenways.

Neighborhood Greenways are local streets designed to give priority to people walking and bicycling, to allow bicyclists and motorists to safely share the road with cars by calming the traffic, and to make crossing busier streets safer and easier.
