Alameda City Hall reopens July 6

Alameda City Hall and other facilities to reopen July 6 with COVID protocols in place

Starting Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in-person services at City Hall and other City facilities will be available on a limited basis, including passport applications, business licenses, and the permit center.

Since everyone is not yet vaccinated, and for the protection of employees and individuals doing business at City facilities, employees, residents, and visitors are asked to continue wearing a face-covering inside all City-operated facilities. Please do not enter City facilities if you have recently had contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 or if you are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19.

City services continued throughout the pandemic, with staff working in-person and remotely, responding to the public by email, phone, and using online portals. Reopening is a significant milestone in the fight against COVID-19, and vaccines have been critical in allowing us to meet this moment. Today, 74.8% of Alameda’s population 12 and older are fully vaccinated and 87.1% have had at least one dose. If you still need to get your vaccine or need to schedule your second dose, please visit www.alamedaca.gov/vaccine
