ARPD PROGRAMS FOLLOW ALL STATE AND COUNTY HEALTH PROTOCOLS 

Alameda Youth Committee (AYC) is currently recruiting members for 2024 Summer.

ARPD is seeking responsible and motivated teens to help coordinate activities for teens, assist with community events, take action on community issues and help with fundraising.  AYC provides youth with a great opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills, make new friends and have fun!  Use your creative experience, initiative and community spirit to make a difference in Alameda.  As a group, AYC will create an event for the community to be held at the end of the summer. 

AYC Meetings:

  • AYC meeting are held every Tuesday, June 4 to August 6, 2024
  • 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
  • Veteran's Memorial Building, 2203 Central Ave, Room 390, Alameda
  • Class #24751
  • Members are required to attend meetings regularly.
  • AYC hours count towards school community service requirements.
  • Hours include some weekends for community events.
 Cost:  $25 fee - includes a AYC T-shirt and purchases for supplies and materials for end of year event
